New house! May 27, 2010

Hey guys and girls. Long time no post! haha I want to take this chance a do a personal blog post.

For those who dont know me super personally…me and my fabulous sister Emily live together. It so great. Yes we are little arguments every now and then but she is my best friend and we have a blast!  Complete opposites in everything but thats what makes it fun. Recently, my sister decided to purchase her first home. We looked and looked. We are really picky…nothing boring or too “cookiecutter”, something with personality that fits a whole list of requirements. But we found it! Needs a little TLC but we were raised up fixing a house up.  But it has beautiful hardwood floors in a good portion of the house, amazing closet space, and great potential to be  amazing! Here are the BEFORE pics!

Haley and Johnathan: Sneak Peek Engagement April 29, 2010

Seems like lately I have had the best clients. I have laughed so much the past while with all my clients. As I was going thru Haley and Johnathan’s images…I literally laughed out loud. They are so cute and Im sure will have a lifetime of laughs to share together. This is a sneak peek of their session.

Caroline and Jared: Engagement Session Sneak Peek April 27, 2010

Meet Caroline and Jerad. These guys crack me up. We met Sunday for their engagment session and had a blast. They met while officiating soccer game. Soooo of course we had to take some pictures at the soccer field…it would be wrong not to. They even brought along Gus…who you will meet later…a super handsome dog who Im totally smitten with. But they begged me to do a sneak peek (and I mean begged haha) so here you are Ms Caroline…your sneak peek! This is all you get til they are done….. maybe.

Amy Clemmons- Hot Springs Bridals April 19, 2010

Ive waited to post these until Ms Amy and Darrell were married. They got married this weekend in Perdido Key, FL. Such a beautiful wedding: perfect weather, amazing location, fun group, and a couple that is soo in love. This makes my job so easy. I will blog on the wedding soon! But here are her bridals that we did a few weeks ago in Garvan Gardens in Hot Springs. We were fighting several things: COLD weather, lots of people at the park, and both of us had crazy busy schedules but we had a blast and we got some good images.

Clinton Haley-Senior April 12, 2010

Meet Clinton… He is currently a senior at Rector High School. I had so much fun on this shoot. Clinton had several ideas of his own…which rocked. Im still working on some of the artsy/cool/fun ones. These are several of my favorites. He is an all around sportsman (as you can see in the pics) but he’s also a smart guy and has a bright future in front of him. Im sure he will be very successful in life. Best of luck Clinton!

Courtney and Parker: Engagement Sneak Peek :) April 6, 2010

Meet Courtney and Parker. They are soooo adorable…together for 3 years and planning and June wedding that Im sure will be just as fabulous as they are!

I met them a several months ago and when we discussed engagements, they said they wanted unique, fun, yet classy pictures. haha I think we covered all our bases with our shoot.  We definitely had a great time and they were amazing sports.  I had them in some crazy places and they rocked it!

Mary Pickens- Sr April 3, 2010

I love Senior pictures. Its such an awesome time in a persons life. I dont know who started the trend of getting senior pictures but they were pretty smart!

I met Mary and her mom Melissa at the bridal fair (Melissa is engaged). They contacted me shortly after and needed Sr pics done fairly quickly. So it being spring break for her we just jumped right on it. Mary is a fun loving down to earth girl. She told me straight up that she didnt want any “model” poses. So I just let her do her own thing and she rocked it. Take a look at what we came up with.

I love Spring! March 30, 2010

I love this time of year…Not only because it marks the beginning of wedding and portrait season but because of all the prettiness that pops up and reminds us just how awesome it is to be alive. Being a photographer, I LOVE textures and colors. This time of year you get all sorts of them. Soooo….Slow down, breathe it in, and really thank God for all he does and how great you really have it!

I was contacted a few weeks ago by Mrs. Mary Ellen. She wanted to get their family pictures update. Her and her husband have been married 13 years and have not got pictures since their wedding. “COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE” I said. “13 years without professional pictures??! We must do this now.” hahahaha Anyways…I met her and her husband and their two “children” (Lola and George) out at Wye Mountain. They are an AMAZING couple. So darn cute! We had an awesome time!
